World War II and the attack on Pearl Harbor would bring America into the war. With the US economy being primed for the war effort. With government economic might behind them, each branch could bring out new technology that would turn the tide of the war for the Allies. This site includes some of the key weapons and tools that helped the United States have an edge against its enemies. This website examines the US Army, Air Force, Marines, and Navy each technological gains that were essential on the way to victory. We hope this will assist those wanting to learn more about US Soldiers, Airmen, Marines, and Sailors used in the war. Everyone involved in this project is either an education major or a public history major. This information can be used in both fields of history. By people learning what was used, they will learn how the US rapidly developed the technology during the war and emerged as a world superpower. We hope you enjoy learning about American World War II Technology. World War II was the deadliest war of all time, with an estimated 75-80 million people killed. America would swell here ranks to close to 17 million men, and women join all of the branches to avenge Pearl Harbor, with 407,000 Americans laying down their lives during the conflict for the altar of freedom. This website is a dedication to those who paid that price and the millions who died in the horrors of WWII.
