Description
The M1 was a lightweight small arm widely used and like by Marine corps members. Its small size and weight made it a very handy weapon for close quarters and jungle fighting. The Marines were expected to fight in terrible conditions and so needed a reliable and rugged weapon and the M1 carbine filled this role well.
