Description

Atabrine tablets were standard issue among Marine corps members and were vital in keeping them alive in the field. Their main purpose was preventing malaria which was a major problem during the early months during the war. Although these pills were very effective they also came with side effects including headaches, nausea, vomiting and most infamously turing skin a light yellow hue.
