Description
The Springfield M1903a3 was used throughout the war in both Europe and Asia primarily as a sniper rifle. While technology surrounding sniping was primitive at the beginning of the war the need for long range precision was important. Proving to be an accurate rifle the Springfield was later used in the Vietnam conflict as well.
