Description
A small but important device the TL-122 flashlight was given to Marine corps and Paratroopers for nighttime use. Marine corps members found particular use for them in clearing out enemies located in caves such as in the battle of Peleliu. It’s important to emphasize that this technology was relatively new at the time and the incorporation of the flashlight into a Marines armament was a distinct advantage over their enemies.
